About This Recipe:
Use this facial soap daily to gently exfoliate and help keep skin smooth and soft. Green Zeolite Clay helps absorb excess oil while Kelp Granules act as a mild exfoliant. Grapefruit (Pink) Essential Oil adds just enough citrus scent to mask the very mild scent of kelp. Use on the entire body for an all over exfoliant.

Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 32 oz. Detergent Free Aloe & Olive MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray
• 0.80 oz. Green Zeolite Clay
• 0.60 oz. Kelp Granules
• .50 oz. Grapefruit (Pink) EO - Certified 100% Pure 141


Equipment From Home:
• (1) Microwave
• (1) Microwave-Safe Measuring Cup (16 oz.)
• (1) Soap Cutter & Cutting Mat
• (1) Scale
• (1) Thermometer - Digital
• (1) Wire Whisk
• (3) Small Bowls
• (1) Plastic Wrap
• (1) Rubbing Alcohol - 99%

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. To a microwave-safe measuring cup, add 16 oz. cut up Aloe & Olive soap base. Heat in microwave until melted.
  2. Add 0.40 oz. Green Zeolite Clay and 0.30 oz. Kelp Granules. Stir with wire whisk.
  3. Add 0.25 oz. Pink Grapefruit essential oil and stir.
  4. Let soap cool  to 120° F while stirring occasionally. 
  5. Place silicone mold on scale and tare to zero. Stir, then pour 4 oz. of soap into each cavity. Spritz with alcohol and let soap set up.
  6. Remove from mold and set aside.
  7. Repeat above steps to make additional four bars.
  8. Wrap in plastic wrap or other airtight packaging of choice.
  9. Label product accordingly.
To Use: Apply to wet skin gently massaging to exfoliate. Rinse with warm water.
