Our Clear Conditioning Shampoo contains Cocamidopropyl Betaine which is derived from Coconut Oil. This same ingredient helps prevents static (fly away hair) making it perfect for hair products. Paraben Free. Add color & fragrance or use as is.

Shampoo. This is a ready to use base. It can be used “as is” or it can have color and fragrance incorporated prior to packaging.

Maximum Temp Note: If a base is heated over “Maximum Heating Temperature” for greater than 5 minutes the current preservative system can be rendered inactive and additional preservative is required to prevent the growth of mold, bacteria and fungus. If more than 5% additives are incorporated into the base, the current preservative system will be diluted and additional preservative will be required.
**MAXIMUM FRAGRANCE NOTE** Some fragrance and essential oils may thin, thicken and/or cloud this base. You will want to conduct performance testing to ensure your final product performs as you desire.

Directions: |

Add .5%-1% fragrance (0.5% = 1/2 teaspoon per 16 ounces of base). This is a water based product. If you use straight fragrance oil, it will likely float or sink instead of incorporating into the base. (To make your fragrance oil water soluble, mix your fragrance oil with our fragrance oil modifier as directed.) Add modified fragrance oil or water based fragrance to this base. Lightly color with water based color as desired. If shampoo bubbles have color when using, too much color has been added. Bubbles must be clear.
We do not recommend adding vegetable or fruit oils/ butters as they will significantly decrease your lather. Aggressive stirring will cause bubbles. Each fragrance reacts differently in the base and should be tested accordingly.
