Barbershop. Shave and a Hair Cut. There are many types of Barbershop fragrance oils in this market. I wanted something different but still reminiscent of the old-fashioned Barbershops. When I was a kid, my Dad went to a lady barber named Lillian. I loved going with him - all those smells! The shaving cream, "hair tonics", the secret powders she used, the aftershaves and even the lollipop and the bottle of soda I would get while I waited. The smell was more than just the aftershave my Dad would smell like when he was finished, it was ALL the smells in that little barbershop. This is my version of an old-fashioned barbershop. I wanted this scent to be more than just a bay rum version. Clean. Refreshing. This is an amazing oil with an even more amazing scent throw. LOVE this one. Love it! In the California Adventure park at Disneyland in CA is a ride called Soarin'. This ride has the guests climb into jumbo size hang gliders holding dozen of people who are lifted off the ground and placed over a massive screen that the riders "soar" over. Projected on the screen are the sights of California and while the ride is in motion, the air is fragranced with scents that match the landscape you're flying over. This oil reminds me of that ride!
