Secret Garden Bath Tea Recipe

A wondrous mixture of salts and buttermilk combined with the delicacy of calendula petals and rose buds sets the stage for this tranquilizing and aromatic bath tea blend.

(2) 1 lb Epsom Salts (Magnesium Sulfate)

(1) 1 lb Dead Sea Salt - Fine Grain

(1) 1 lb Buttermilk Powder

(1) 2 oz Oatmeal - Colloidal

(1) 1 lb Calendula - Petals Only

(2) 2 oz Rose Petals - Red Buds & Leaves

(1) 2 fl. oz Peony* Fragrance Oil 424

(1) 1 Piece Droppers (Pipettes) - Plastic

(1) 1 Each Hairnets - 24 inch Disposable

(10) 1 Set 06 oz Clear Round Tube with White Cap (1.5 x 6")

(1) 0.06 Pack (1/2 oz) Natural Raffia

Recipe Ingredients:

• 3 Cup(s) Epsom Salts (Magnesium Sulfate)
• 1½ Cup(s) Dead Sea Salt - Fine Grain
• ¾ Cup(s) Buttermilk Powder
• 1/8 Cup(s) Oatmeal - Colloidal
• 1½ Cup(s) Calendula - Petals Only
• 2 Cup(s) Rose Petals - Red Buds & Leaves
• 6 ml(s) Peony* Fragrance Oil 424

Directions:

NOTE:  If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask.  We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine Epson Salt, Dead Sea Salt, Buttermilk Powder and Oatmeal-Colloidal Powder.
2. Mix until ingredients are completely combined.
3. Add 6 ml Peony Fragrance Oil to salt and powder mixture and stir with wire whisk until combined. 
4. Lay mixture onto cookies sheets and let dry overnight. 
5. Add Calendula Petals to mixture.
6. Measure out the rose buds reserving the largest buds to be used later in the recipe. Yield of reserved rose buds should be approximately 1/2 cup.  
7. Add remaining 1-1/2 cups of rose buds to the mixture, stirring to incorporate.
8. Place 4 oz. of completed mixture into each tube.  Place a few of the reserved rose buds at the top of each filled tube. Tie raffia around top of tube to decorate, if desired. 
9. Label product accordingly.

TO USE: Sprinkle salts into bath water and enjoy. If your drain does not have a screen to catch the botanicals, place mixture into mesh bath tea ball, if available.
