Basil Powder is popular in skincare and soap making because it is a natural colorant and works well on the skin. Use this natural colorant to enhance shave soap, liquid soap, face masks and more!

Directions:
DIRECTIONS: Incorporate into formula, amount as desired. Common use levels are 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon per pound of base. Test your final product to insure optimal performance and no staining. Not recommended for leave on products.
STORAGE: Store in an airtight, cool, dark location. When stored properly, best used within 1 year from date of purchase. Keep out of reach from children and pets.
CAUTION: For external use only. Keep out of reach of children and away from eyes. Do not inhale.

COMMENTS: Adds a nice nuanced fragrance to my earthy smelling soaps. Definitely back for the 5 pound bag for my scrub bars. I use 1 tsp PPO for the following batch: Lard, Milk, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Avocado Oil, Olive Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Honey, Rosemary Leaves, Oatmeal, Pumice Powder, Sea Salt, Peppermint EO, Patchouli EO, Basil Powder, Tea Tree EO, Lavender EO. The recipe is really taken up a couple notches when the basil powder is added. So keeping it in stock is a must!

COMMENTS: I used this in my facial soap and I could feel and see a difference almost immediately. I have fair skin and my face tends to be pink and inflamed on either side of my nose, but all of that was reduced once I started using basil powder in my facial soap. Gives my CP soap a nice soft speckled very slightly yellowish green.

COMMENTS: I incorporate this basil powder in my facial mask, body scrub and melt and pour soap it was well received, my clients really liked the way it made their skin looked and feel. I also tried it, was pleased with the way it made my face feel. A little bit goes a long way!! I'll have to order more so that I'll always have this on hand.
