Cranberry Butter
Directions:
DIRECTIONS: Slowly stir melted product into the oil portion of your formulation. Common use levels are lip products 5-100%, cold process soap 3-6%, lotions and creams 3-5%. Can be applied directly to the skin.
TIPS: The average melting point for the butter is 110°F. Butters provide moisturizing properties to products. To minimize greasy after feel we recommend blending with 1-3% cornstarch or isopropyl myristate. Test your final product to insure optimal performance.
STORAGE: Store in an airtight, cool, dark location. When stored properly, best used within 1 year from date of purchase.
CAUTION: For external use only. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

COMMENTS: I must be one of the few people who does not like this product. I was excited about getting a unique pink butter for my lotion bars and lip scrubs. I found that the color "settled" to the bottom of the tubes and bars. This wasn't too big a problem for me, as I'd selected heart shaped molds and it created a neat design. But the bars themselves smelled like ChapStick. UGH. Same for the whipped body butter. I tried using various fragrance oils to no avail. I'm finding this odd odor very off putting and have sent samples to family for their opinion. Next time I will just stick to shea butter.

COMMENTS: This is one of the products that so nice straight out of the jar that I swooned. A little.
I used the Cranberry Butter Blend to make a Sugar Scrub for lips. It's perfect right out of the jar, just add sugar & colorant. People love it.
Also made a super luxurious Cranberry fragranced Bath Whip and used it in the Luxury Hand & Body cream. Not too greasy, sinks in right away. No annoying grit. Color is not really noticeable in the product, I added cosmetic safe micas for some eye appeal. Toss in a few cranberry seeds or jojoba beads, and it's a thing of beauty. I need to purchase more.

COMMENTS: THIS product is amazing. My customers love it. It is better than any other I have tried. It makes the best whipped butter lip balms. smooth glide on and softens the skin and tissue of lips and leaves a heavenly scent. It is a little pricey but OMG WORTH IT. If you never have tried it PLEASE TRY IT YOU WILL LOVE IT AND SO WILL ANY CUSTOMER WHO USES IT.

COMMENTS: I used this as part of my recipe for whipped body butter. I love the feel of it on my skin but it does have little beads in it. Doesn't whip smooth. It also doesn't have a strong smell.

COMMENTS: I've used cranberry butter for lip balms and body butters. It has a beautiful color when used alone, but color quickly goes when mixed with other butters. This butter easily mixes with other butters and base oils. The thick, luxurious texture is great for dry winter skin, and has a nice glide when used on lips. I recommend cranberry butter; you will be pleased with your purchase.

COMMENTS: I was a little nervous paying the cost for this. I used this in lip scrub, lip balm , MP soap, & body butter. I will be using it in CP soap as well. I did not find it gritty and my products were exactly as expected. My body butter was rich and creamy. It's become a favorite with my clients. I found that adding arrowroot and tapioca powder helped eliminate some of the greasy feel. I will definitely purchase again.
