"This stuff ROCKS! " COMMENTS:  This stuff is the best of ALL worlds! When others say you'll want to put this in everything, they're not kidding! All the wonderful properties of honey, only without any of the sticky, gooey, syrupy hassle or feel! Works miracles in CP too! I've noticed it tends to scorch much less than traditional honey, so you can still achieve a fantastically gelled batch of soap due to the natural sugars (LOVE me some gelled soaps!!), just without the dark orange, scorched soap batter, the eventual tan-colored soaps, or those pesky brown speckles that can develop with traditional honey in CP. Makes for AHHHMAZING lather, humectant & skin conditioning properties in CP application, but can be incorporated into so many different projects too; lotion, lip balms, shave creams, haircare- you name it! The fact that it smells SOOOO GOOOOD is the cherry on top! I purchased a LB of this while it was on sale, just out of sheer curiosity, but it's become a honey game-changer for me... I'll be back for more at the first sign of it getting low. A little goes a long way, so it's an extremely economical choice in an outstanding additive too, since the price is already great to begin with! "Great powdered honey" COMMENTS:  It was hard for me to find a powder honey online! I previously ordered some from another company and this is much better quality. The other one was more grainy and this is a more powdery consistency that mixes well. I use it in my powder face masks and body butter. "Honey Powder" COMMENTS:  I used this in a powdered face mask along with chamomile powder. When the mask is still in powder form the scent isn't too strong, but when you mix water in it I love the honey scent it gives. till not too strong but you can tell it;s honey! Staff Answer In general, we recommend adding more preservative to Foaming Bath Whip recipes if the end product will be regularly exposed to water, i.e. scooped out of a jar in the shower. Preservative - Water Soluble PF works very well in most Foaming Bath Whip recipes. You would not need to use a preservative for a product made with only oils, butters, and powder unless the product might be exposed to water; an antioxidant like Vitamin E T-50 would be most appropriate. Staff Answer You can add either raw honey or the honey powder. Honey powder will just need mixed with a small amount of oil or glycerin to help incorporate. Too much honey can cause a soft bar. Staff Answer You can use both of these together, yes. Honey Powder, stabilizers, and preservatives all have different functions and their own purpose in formulas. A preservative will not help the discolorations that is caused by fragrances. Too much Honey Powder may cause your product to become sticky. Staff Answer You can add the honey powder once the soap has melted. We recommend mixing with a small amount of melted soap to make a paste. Then add to the larger amount.
