Milky Way Soap Molds can tolerate temperatures of 135-145 degrees F. Above these temperatures, warping may occur. Soap is easiest to release 12-24 hours after cooling.
Wash molds in warm, sudsy water. Please avoid the dishwasher because that can warp your molds or make them brittle.

Directions:
Melt & Pour Soap: Pour melted soap at a temperature no hotter than 135ºF into mold. Cool until soap has hardened. Remove soap from mold. For easier unmolding, place into freezer for 30 minutes, and then immerse bottom of the mold in hot water for a few moments. Do not use cooking spray to coat mold.
Cold Process Soap: Coat the mold with cooking spray. Pour soap at trace into mold. After 24 hours, flip mold over onto a clean surface. Gently push the back of the mold until the soap begins to release then pull the soap out of the mold with a gloved hand. Allow soap to cure for 4-8 weeks. Note that some CP soap recipes may require a week to harden enough to remove from the mold. If this is the case with your recipe, we recommend adding sodium lactate to your recipe to assist with creating a harder bar faster.
Lotion Bars: Pour melted lotion bar mixture into mold cavities at a temperature no hotter than 135ºF. Allow mixture to solidify. Flip mold over onto clean surface. Gently push back of mold until lotion bar begins to release then pull bar out of mold.
Care:
Wash in warm, sudsy water. Please avoid the dishwasher because that can warp your molds or make them brittle.

"Love this mold!" |
COMMENTS: I used these molds to make lotion bars and they worked fantastically!! The detail is amazing, and they release from the mold very easily. My only suggestion is to prop up the edges or be very mindful of which cavity you fill first or your mold will tip over.

"Magical mermaids" |
COMMENTS: This mold makes beautiful mermaids; the detail is amazing. It's perfect for using up leftover soap batter from large loaf recipes. I made up some mermaids as an experiment, and they sold out within a few days. As others have said, it can be a little difficult to get CP soap out of the mold, but placing the mold in the freezer for a few hours makes the mermaids pop right out. The soap I've made from this mold has received many compliments. Given how popular they're becoming, I'm considering purchasing another mold to increase mermaid production.

"Almost naked mermaid" |
COMMENTS: I love her, she's perfect for painting with mica, hair and tail, I wrap her sitting on a gold round pastry cardboard, and sell for $3.50, I use leftover batter to fill the molds when making bigger loaves. So she's marked as lightly scented. Customer love picking up last minute item. Turns out perfect 98% of the time. Own 4 of these molds.

"Beautiful Mermaids!" |
COMMENTS: The cold process soaps I put in these molds are super popular and sell faster than I can produce them!Getting the soap out took a bit of practice but if you let them set for 24-48 hours and pop them in the freezer for a bit they pop right out.
