Tropical Trio Body Wash Recipe

About This Recipe:

This trio of tropical scented body washes will leave you feeling like you are on a tropical island. Use a different scent each day or combine them for your own unique tropical paradise. This recipe will make 3 sets of 4 oz. bottles and 2 sets of 1 oz. travel size bottles.

(1) 2 fl. oz White Pineapple Fragrance Oil 354

(1) 2 fl. oz Mango Tango Twist Fragrance Oil 324

(1) 2 oz Vanilla Color Stabilizer - Lotions - Washes

(1) 5 ml Stained Glass Lemon Yellow Liquid Color

(1) 5 ml Stained Glass Citrus Orange Liquid Color

(1) 5 ml Stained Glass Santa Red Liquid Color

Recipe Ingredients:

• 48 oz. Liquid Suspension Soap Base
• 0.50 oz. Bubble Wash Pearlizer
• 0.50 oz. Honeyquat
• 0.50 oz. Bamboo Extract - Water Soluble
• 9.5 ml(s) Cool Coconut* Fragrance Oil 607
• 9.5 ml(s) White Pineapple Fragrance Oil 354
• 9.5 ml(s) Mango Tango Twist Fragrance Oil 324
• 9.5 ml(s) Vanilla Color Stabilizer - Lotions - Washes
• 4 Drop(s) Stained Glass Lemon Yellow Liquid Color
• 9 Drop(s) Stained Glass Citrus Orange Liquid Color
• 3 Drop(s) Stained Glass Santa Red Liquid Color

Equipment From Home:

• (1) Microwave
• (3) Microwave-Safe Measuring Cup (16 oz.)
• (1) Measuring Spoons
• (1) Mixing Spoon
• (1) Spatula

Directions:

NOTE:  If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.

1. To a microwave-safe measuring cup, add 16 oz. of Liquid Suspension Soap Base. Heat in microwave and 30 seconds. Remove and stir.
2. Add 1 tsp. of Bubble Wash Pearlizer, 1 tsp. of Bamboo Extract and 1 tsp. of Honeyquat. Stir.
3. In a plastic beaker, mix 9.5 ml of Cool Coconut Fragrance Oil with 4.75 ml of Vanilla Color Stabilizer for Lotions/Washes. Mix well and add to soap mixture.
4. Pour liquid soap into 3 of the 4 oz. bottles, filling to the shoulder of the bottle.
5. With the remaining soap, fill 2 of the 1 oz. bottles. 
6. Repeat Steps 2-4 to heat liquid soap and add ingredients.   
7. In a plastic beaker, mix 9.5 ml of White Pineapple Fragrance Oil with 4.75 ml of Vanilla Color Stabilizer for Lotions/Washes.  Mix well and add to soap mixture
8. Add 4 drops of Stained Glass Lemon Yellow Liquid Color to liquid base and stir until color is completely blended in.
9. Fill bottles as above in Steps 6-7.
10. Repeat Steps 1-2 for final bottles.
11. To warmed soap base, add 9.5 ml of Mango Tango Twist Fragrance Oil and stir.
12. Add 9 drops of Stained Glass Citrus Orange Liquid Color and 3 drops of Stained Glass Santa Red Liquid Color and stir until colors are mixed in well.
13. Fill final bottles with product.  Let cool completely before applying caps.
14. Place 1 bottle of each scent into an organza bag. There will be 3 full size sets and 2 travel size. Label accordingly.   

To Use: Massage onto wet skin and rinse with warm water.
