About This Recipe:
Unlike commercial foaming shave creams, this shave butter does not contain soap or other drying additives instead offering fantastic ingredients like cocoa butter and almond oil.  Infused with Rosemary and Peppermint Essential Oils this formula is both cooling and refreshing.  A little goes a long way making this a great value for your customers.

Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 16 oz. Cocoa Butter - Deodorized & Ultra White
• 16 oz. Aloe Vera Gel
• 8 oz. Coconut Oil - 76º Melt
• 2 oz. Sweet Almond Oil - Refined
• 4 ml(s) Rosemary EO - Certified 100% Pure 714
• 1 ml(s) Peppermint (Natural) EO - Certified 100% Pure 712
• 4 Tablespoon(s) Tapioca Starch - Pure


Equipment From Home:
• (1) Stove Top or Double Boiler
• (1) Mixing Spoon
• (1) Hand Mixer
• (1) Metal Pot
• (1) Measuring Spoons
• (1) Scale - Digital Display

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron.
  1. To pot for stove or double boiler, add Cocoa Butter and Coconut Oil  Heat just long enough to melt butter completely.
  2. Set mixture aside and let set up at room temperature.
  3. When butter and oil have solidified, add almond oil and essential oils.
  4. Using a hand mixer, whip the mixture until soft and fluffy.
  5. Add tapioca starch and aloe vera gel and mix well to incorporate.
  6. Package 6.45 oz. of product in each 8 oz. Green Basic Plastic Jar and place lids on top.
  7. Tie the black spatula to the jar using the raffia.
  8. Label product accordingly.
TO USE: Apply a thin layer of shave butter to skin and shave as usual. This product will melt a bit as you use it. It is not necessary to clean your skin afterwards, however, if you wish you may use a warm, wet wash cloth and rinse the skin by pressing firmly. To clean razor, swish in a cup of warm water between strokes.
