About This Recipe:
This glittery golden lip balm will help protect your lips from the cold, winter weather. The oils and butters will moisturize while the beeswax creates a protective coating.

(1) 2 oz Olive Oil - Extra Virgin

(1) 2 oz Beeswax - Ultra Refined & Bleached

(1) 2 oz MCT - Mid Chain Triglycerides Liquid

(1) 2 oz Shea Butter - Ultra Refined

(1) 2 oz Jojoba Oil - Clear

(1) 2 fl. oz Summer Honey - Natural Fragrance Oil 395

(1) 2.5 gm Bag Sparkle Dark Gold Mica Powder

(1) 1 Each Hairnets - 24 inch Disposable

(9) 1 Set 0.5 oz Black Shallow Rustproof Tin and Screw Top Set


Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 0.90 oz. Olive Oil - Extra Virgin
• 0.60 oz. Beeswax - Ultra Refined & Bleached
• 0.45 oz. MCT - Mid Chain Triglycerides Liquid
• 0.60 oz. Shea Butter - Ultra Refined
• 0.45 oz. Jojoba Oil - Clear
• 0.15 oz. Summer Honey - Natural Fragrance Oil 395
• 1 Teaspoon(s) Sparkle Dark Gold Mica Powder


Equipment From Home:
• (1) Stove Top or Double Boiler
• (1) Metal Pot
• (1) Measuring Spoons
• (1) Mixing Spoon
• (1) Spatula
• (1) Scale - Digital Display

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. To a metal pot, add olive oil, beeswax, MCT, shea butter and jojoba oil. Melt until completely liquified. Remove from heat.
  2. Add fragrance oil and stir well.
  3. Stir in colorant until desired shade is reached.
  4. Pour mixture into the nine 0.5 oz. shallow tins.
  5. Allow to completely cool before applying lids..
  6. Label product accordingly.
To Use:  Apply to dry lips as often as desired.
