About This Recipe:
This scrub smells so good you may be tempted to eat it. The oat scrub and brown sugar gently exfoliate your skin as the walnut oil and shea butter moisturize and leave your skin feeling soft and smooth all over.

Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 8 oz. Walnut Oil
• 8 oz. Oat Scrub - Chopped Oats
• 8 oz. Brown Sugar - Raw Demerara Crystals
• 4 oz. Detergent Free Goat Milk MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray
• 2 oz. Shea Butter - Ultra Refined
• 2 oz. Castor Oil
• 2 oz. Glycerin - Natural
• 0.50 oz. Emulsifying Wax - Traditional
• 0.50 oz. Stearic Acid
• 5 ml(s) Vitamin E Natural T-50
• 20 ml(s) Brown Sugar Fragrance Oil 636
• 0.20 oz. Preservative - Water Soluble/O25

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. Grind 0.5 lb. or 8 oz. of the oat scrub in a food processor until a powdery consistency. Set aside.
  2. In a microwave-safe mixing bowl, add walnut oil, stearic acid and emulsifying wax. Heat in microwave until waxes have melted. Stir contents with wire whisk to blend.
  3. Add shea butter and let melt into warm oil. Once melted, blend again with whisk.
  4. To a microwave-safe measuring cup, add 4 oz. of goat milk soap base. Heat in microwave until melted. Add to oil/butter mixture and stir.
  5. Add oat scrub and brown sugar and mix well.
  6. Follow with remaining ingredients: castor oil, glycerin, vitamin E, fragrance and preservative.  Mix well.
  7. Let product cool completely before packaging into jars. Product will separate slightly, so be sure to mix well before spooning into jars. Apply lids.
  8. Label accordingly.
To Use: Massage scrub onto wet skin. Rinse off with warm water.
