Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 1 Gallon(s) Basic Lotion Base
• 1.80 oz. Lemongrass Verbena* - EO & FO Blend 357
• 0.90 oz. Vanilla Color Stabilizer - Lotions - Washes
• 0.10 oz. Stained Glass Forest Green Liquid Color


Equipment From Home:
• (1) Microwave-Safe Measuring Cup (64 oz.)
• (1) Large Spoon
• (1) Microwave
• (1) Plastic Funnel
• (1) Spatula
• (1) 1 Each Scale - Digital Display (Professional)
• (1) 1 Piece Non Contact Infrared Thermometer

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. to large microwave-safe measuring cup, add 64 oz. of Basic Lotion Base.
  2. Microwave in 1 minute increments, stirring in between, until lotion is 130ºF. (Do not exceed 140ºF).
  3. Combine Fragrance Oil and Vanilla Color Stabilizer in plastic beaker. Mix well and allow to sit for 2 minutes.
  4. Add 0.10 oz. Forest Green Liquid to heated lotion. Add more color for a darker shade. Add fragrance mixture and stir well.
  5. Using funnel, pour half of the heated lotion back into the gallon jug. Screw cap back onto gallon jug and shake well until thoroughly incorporated. Repeat, adding the remaining heated lotion.
  6. Insert gallon pump and pump lotion into each bottle. Fill twelve 8 oz. bottles to 8 oz. by weight, four 4 oz. bottles to 4 oz. by weight and four 2 oz. bottles to 2 oz. by weight. Any remaining product can be divided equally among the bottles.
  7. Allow to cool completely. Apply caps.
  8. Label accordingly.
To Use: Massage onto skin as often as needed.
