(2) 2 oz Meadowfoam Seed Oil
(2) 2 oz Emulsifying Wax - Traditional

(1) 2 fl. oz Pink Grapefruit Fragrance Oil 97
(1) 2 oz Preservative - Sorbic Acid +2 PF
(1) 1/2 oz Vitamin E Natural T-50
(2) 1 Piece Beaker - Natural Polypropylene

Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 28.80 oz. Distilled Water (not included in kit)
• 6 oz. Shorea (Sal) Butter
• 5.75 oz. Tucuma Butter
• 2.40 oz. Meadowfoam Seed Oil
• 2.40 oz. Emulsifying Wax - Traditional
• 1.45 oz. Stearic Acid
• 0.95 oz. Pink Grapefruit Fragrance Oil 97
• 0.50 oz. Preservative - Sorbic Acid +2 PF
• 0.25 oz. Vitamin E Natural T-50


Equipment From Home:
• (1) Microwave-Safe Measuring Cup (64 oz.)
• (1) Microwave-Safe Measuring Cup (32 oz.)

• (1) Refrigerator
• (1) Distilled Water

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. To 32 oz. microwave-safe measuring cup, add water. Set aside.
  2. To larger microwave-safe measuring cup, add emulsifying wax, stearic acid, meadowfoam seed oil, shorea and tucuma butters. Heat in microwave until waxes have completely melted.
  3. Heat water from Step 1 for two minutes in microwave. Slowly pour into hot oil/wax mixture.
  4. Using a hand mixer, begin to blend for 5 minutes. Place bowl in refrigerator for 30-45 minutes until it starts to harden around the edges.
  5. Whip until product thickens, scraping sides with spatula.  Add Vitamin E, fragrance and preservative. Whip for an additional 5 minutes. 
  6. Fill jars to approximately 7 oz. each by weight. Divide any extra lotion between the jars. Apply lids.
  7. Label product accordingly.
To Use: Apply to skin as often as desired.
