About This Recipe:
Learn how to make melt and pour soap with this simple recipe. The goat milk soap base contains goat's milk, which is an excellent moisturizer and natural emollient. This wonderful soap is paired with one of our favorite fragrance oils, Revitalizing Rosemary Mint FO for a minty fresh cleansing experience, and is molded in Crafter's Choice Euro Round Silicone Mold.

Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 16 oz. Basic Goat Milk MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray
• 14 ml(s) Revitalizing Rosemary Mint FO 209


Equipment From Home:
• (1) Microwave-Safe Measuring Cup (16 oz.)
• (1) Microwave
• (1) Soap Cutter & Cutting Mat
• (1) Scale - Digital Display
• (1) Spatula
• (1) Spray Bottle with Rubbing Alcohol-71% or higher

Directions:

NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron.
  1. To a microwave-safe measuring cup, add 16 oz. of cut up goat milk soap. Heat in microwave in 30 second micrements until soap has melted. 
  2. Using the plastic dropper to measure, add 14 mL (0.50 oz.) of Revitalizing Rosemary Mint Fragrance Oil to the melted soap.
  3. Stir the soap with a spatula until the fragrance is well incorporated.
  4. Pour the soap into each mold cavity of the Euro Round Silicone Soap Mold.
  5. Spray the top of the soap with rubbing alcohol to pop any surface bubbles.
  6. Allow the soap to fully harden.
  7. Unmold and wrap each bar with plastic wrap or other airtight packaging of choice.
  8. Label product acordingly.
To Use: Lather onto wet skin and rinse with warm water.
