Aromatherapy Citrus Lime Foot Scrub Recipe

About This Recipe:

This aromatherapy foot scrub uses a blend of refreshing lime and cooling peppermint essential oils.

(2) 2 oz Brown Sugar - Raw Demerara Crystals

(1) 2 oz Coconut Oil - 76º Melt

(1) 2 oz Jojoba Oil - Clear

(1) 2 fl. oz Lime EO - Certified 100% Pure 708

(1) 2 fl. oz Peppermint (Redist) EO - Certified 100% Pure 699

(1) 2 oz Preservative - Sorbic Acid +2 PF

(1) 1 Each Hairnets - 24 inch Disposable

(2) 1 Piece Droppers (Pipettes) - Plastic

(4) 1 Jars 02 oz Clear Heavy Wall Plastic Jar - 58/400

(4) 1 Piece 58/400 Silver Metal Basic Top Cap - Foam Liner

Recipe Ingredients:

• 4 oz. Brown Sugar - Raw Demerara Crystals
• 2 oz. Coconut Oil - 76º Melt
• 2 oz. Jojoba Oil - Clear
• 30 Drop(s) Lime EO - Certified 100% Pure 708
• 30 Drop(s) Peppermint (Redist) EO - Certified 100% Pure 699
• 0.10 oz. Preservative - Sorbic Acid +2 PF

Equipment From Home:

• (1) Microwave-Safe Measuring Cup (16 oz.)
• (1) Spatula
• (1) Microwave

Directions:

NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.

1.  Place Coconut Oil in large glass bowl and heat in microwave until melted.
2.  To the melted Coconut Oil add Jojoba Oil.
3.  Add the Brown Sugar and mix in.
4.  Add the Essential Oils and Optiphen Plus. Blend until all the ingredients are well mixed.
5.  Fill each jar to 2 oz. by weight.  Place lid on jar.
6.  Label accordingly.

To Use: Stir before using. Gently massage scrub onto feet and rinse with water and pat dry. Feet will be slightly oily so care should be taken if in the tub.
