(1) 2 fl. oz Mayan Gold - EO & FO Blend 347
(1) 1 Mold Regular Loaf Silicone Mold 1501
(1) 2.5 gm Bag Sparkle Dark Gold Mica Powder
(1) 2.5 gm Bag Egyptian Bronze Mica Powder
(1) 1 Each Hairnets - 24 inch Disposable


Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 48 oz. Premium Honey MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray
• 1.5 oz. Mayan Gold - EO & FO Blend 347
• 1 Piece(s) Regular Loaf Silicone Mold 1501
• 0.5 oz. Sparkle Dark Gold Mica Powder
• 0.5 oz. Egyptian Bronze Mica Powder


Equipment From Home:
• (1) Microwave
• (1) Microwave-Safe Measuring cup (32 oz.)
• (2) Glass Mixing Bowls
• (1) Cookie Sheet
• (1) Soap Cutter & Cutting Mat
• (1) Spray Bottle with Rubbing Alcohol-91%

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. To microwave-safe measuring cup, add 24 oz. of cut up Honey Soap. Heat in microwave or in double boiler until soap has melted.
  2. Add 0.75 oz. of fragrance oil and mix well.
  3. Add 1/2 tsp. Gold Mica Powder or more until desired color is reached.
  4. Place loaf mold on a cookie sheet for added stability.
  5. Pour gold soap into the loaf mold. Spritz with alcohol to pop any surface bubbles. Set aside to allow soap to solidify.
  6. Remove soap from mold and chop into medium irregular shapes (cutting at an angle works the best). Set chunks aside.
  7. Measure 1 Tablespoon of Bronze Mica powder and place in one of the glass mixing bowls.
  8. Measure 1 Tablespoon of Gold Mica powder and place in the second glass mixing bowl.
  9. Wearing gloves, place half of the soap chunks into the bronze mica bowl and toss to coat.
  10. Place the other half of the soap chunks in the gold mica bowl and toss to coat. Set aside.
  11. To microwave-safe measuring cup, add 24 oz. of cut up Honey Soap. Heat in microwave in 30 second intervals until all soap is melted.
  12. Add 0.75 oz. of fragrance oil and mix.
  13. Pour a 1 inch layer of soap into the loaf mold. Spritz the mica covered chunks with alcohol and begin placing them into the loaf mold. Alternate colors to create a varied look.
  14. Pour more honey soap into the loaf mold creating another 1 inch layer of honey soap above the mica covered chunks.
  15. Continue to alternate layers pouring honey soap and placing mica covered soap chunks until the loaf is completely filled.
  16. It is important to pack the chunks tightly into the loaf after each layer so there are no air pockets.
  17. Mist the top of the loaf with alcohol to remove any bubbles on the surface. Allow the soap to completely cool for 4-6 hours. 
  18. Cut loaf into slices. Feel free to cut into unusual shapes, such as chunks or triangles.
  19. Wrap soap and label accordingly.
To Use: Lather onto wet skin and rinse off with warm water.
