About This Recipe:
This is an extremely easy recipe that even *kids can do! These pretty butterflies are scented with a clean scent that boths adults and children will love. 

* Adult supervision is recommended.

(1) 2 lb Detergent Free Baby Buttermilk MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray
(1) 2 fl. oz Blue Lotus Spa Fragrance Oil 840
(1) 1 Block Stained Glass Violet Purple Soap Color Blocks
(1) 1 Block Stained Glass Ocean Blue Soap Color Blocks
(1) 1 Block Stained Glass Santa Red Soap Color Blocks
(1) 1 Mold Butterfly 5 Guest Soap Molds (MW 36)
(1) 1 Each Hairnets - 24 inch Disposable
(1) 1 Piece Beaker - Natural Polypropylene
(1) 100 Piece Clear Poly Bags - 10" x 4"
(1) 0.06 Pack (1/2 oz) Natural Raffia


Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 20.10 oz. Detergent Free Baby Buttermilk MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray
• 1.20 oz. Blue Lotus Spa Fragrance Oil 840
• 0.05 oz. Stained Glass Violet Purple Soap Color Blocks
• 0.05 oz. Stained Glass Ocean Blue Soap Color Blocks
• 0.05 oz. Stained Glass Santa Red Soap Color Blocks


Equipment From Home:
• (1) Microwave
• (1) Microwave-Safe Measuring Cup (8 oz.)
• (1) Soap Cutter & Cutting Mat
• (1) Scale - Digital Display
• (1) Spatula
• (1) Plastic Wrap
• (1) Spray Bottle with Rubbing Alcohol-71%

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. Melt 6.70 oz Baby Buttermilk Soap and Violet Purple Color Block together in microwave until melted.
  2. Add 0.20 oz. fragrance to soap and mix well.
  3. Pour soap into mold cavities and spray with rubbing alcohol. Allow soap to harden.
  4. Remove soap from mold.
  5. Repeat two more times with each of the other colors.
  6. Wrap all soap in plastic wrap and place one of each color into poly bags. Tie with raffia. (We used a sheet of paper to help slide the soaps into the bags.)
  7. Label accordingly.
