Cedarwood & Sage Mechanic Scrub

About This Recipe:

Any mechanic or do-it-yourselfer will love this scrub's clean, fresh scent. The pumice powder adds just enough scrub to help clean greasy hands while the apricot kernel and safflower oils help soften and moisturize.

(1) 2 oz Apricot Kernel Oil

(1) 1 lb (single jar) Foaming Bath Whip - Traditional

(1) 1 lb Pumice Powder

(1) 2 oz Safflower Oil

(1) 2 oz Bubble Up

(1) 2 fl. oz Cedarwood & Sage* Fragrance Oil 897

(1) 2 oz Preservative - Sorbic Acid +2 PF

(1) 1/2 oz Vitamin E Natural T-50

(1) 1 Each Hairnets - 24 inch Disposable

(2) 1 Piece Beaker - Natural Polypropylene

(7) 1 Jars 08 oz Black Double Wall Plastic Jar - 89/400

(7) 1 Piece 89/400 Black Flip Top Cap - No Liner

Recipe Ingredients:

• 2 oz. Apricot Kernel Oil
• 16 oz. Foaming Bath Whip - Traditional
• 12 oz. Pumice Powder
• 2 oz. Safflower Oil
• 1 oz. Bubble Up
• .5 oz. Cedarwood & Sage* Fragrance Oil 897
• 0.35 oz. Preservative - Sorbic Acid +2 PF
• 0.25 oz. Vitamin E Natural T-50

Equipment From Home:

• (1) Large Mixing Bowl (32 oz.)
• (1) Hand Mixer
• (1) Spatula
• (1) Scale - Digital Display

Directions:

NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet and latex gloves. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.

1.  Into large mixing bowl, add foaming bath whip. Using a hand mixer, whip for two minutes.
2.  Add pumice powder and continue to blend until mixed well.
3.  Add fragrance and all remaining liquid ingredients to pumice/bath whip mixture.
4.  Continue to mix, scraping the bowl, until completely incorporated.
5.  Fill each jar to 4.85 oz. by weight. Place lids on jars.
6.  Label product accordingly. (Print Labels Here).

To Use: Massage onto wet skin and rinse off.
