These bath fizzies look like amethyst geodes! The geode texture is also packed with luxurious bath ingredients including Epsom salt, coconut oil, and cocoa butter. The purple color and complementing Black Magic Sangria fragrance is right on trend with Pantone’s color of the year: Ultra Violet.

Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 16 oz. Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate)
• 2 oz. Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate)
• 9 oz. Citric Acid Powder
• 6.30 oz. Epsom Salts (Magnesium Sulfate)
• 0.45 oz. Polysorbate 80
• 0.35 oz. Coconut Oil - 76º Melt
• 0.35 oz. Cocoa Butter - Deodorized & Ultra White
• 0.30 oz. Black Magic Sangria Fragrance Oil 1013
• 0.15 oz. Vanilla Color Stabilizer - CP Soap
• 1/8 Teaspoon(s) Purple Passion Mica Powder
• 3 .15 ml Scoop Highlight White Purple Mica Powder
• 2 .15 ml Scoop NuTone Purple Mica Powder
• 2 .15 ml Scoop Black Knight Mica Powder


Equipment From Home:

• (1) Measuring Spoons
• (1) Rubbing Alcohol in Spray Bottle
• (1) Small Paint Brush
• (1) Bubble Wrap
• (1) Jelly Roll Pan
• (1) Spatula

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. To small bowl, add 4 oz. Epsom salt, 0.10 oz. polysorbate 80 and Purple Passion mica. Mix well and set aside.
  2. Using coffee grinder, grind 2.30 oz. Epsom salt. To large bowl, add baking soda, citric acid, and ground Epsom salt. Mix well.
  3. To beaker, mix fragrance and stabilizer. After two minutes, slowly drizzle fragrance onto powders while simultaneously hand mixing.
  4. To mold set, add 1 oz. purple salt to one half and top with white mixture. Fill other half with white
  5. mixture. Squeeze mold halves together and set aside on bubble wrap. Repeat for remaining molds. Allow bath fizzies to sit for one hour.
  6. Remove mold halves on the purple salt sides. Brush away some of purple salt to create uneven rocky top.
  7. To beaker, add 0.25 oz. coconut oil, 0.25 oz. cocoa butter, 0.25 oz. polysorbate 80, and NuTone purple powder. Melt in the microwave in 10-second bursts until melted and mix well. Pour half the mixture into the deeper crevices of the purple salt.
  8. To remaining mixture, add black mica and mix well. Pour into the same deep crevices of purple salt.
  9. To clean beaker, add 0.10 oz. coconut oil, 0.10 oz. cocoa butter, 0.10 oz. polysorbate 80 and 1 micro scoop highlight white purple mica. Melt in microwave and mix well. Drizzle mixture over
    peaks of the purple salt and along the rim.
  10. Sprinkle highlight white purple mica powder on top of purple salt.
  11. To clean beaker, add silver mica and spray with rubbing alcohol. Mix well to create paste. Paint along the rim of each bath fizzy.
  12. Allow bath fizzies to harden overnight and then remove from molds.
  13. Package and label accordingly.
To Use: Drop into warm bath water. Soak in tub.
