About This Recipe:
These bars are designed to be used in the shower. The scrubby ingredients exfoliate and get rid of dead skin cells while the butters moisturize and softens your skin. These bars may soften and melt during warmer months so keep that in mind before adding to your outdoor markets.

Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 3.55 oz. Cocoa Butter - Chocolate Odor & Natural Color
• 3.55 oz. Shea Butter - Ultra Refined
• 1.50 oz. Walnut Shell Powder
• 0.50 oz. Emulsifying Wax - Conditioning
• 0.10 oz. Coconut Oil - 76º Melt
• 0.10 oz. Preservative - Phenonip
• 0.10 oz. Oatmeal n' Honey Fragrance Oil 660
• 1 Piece(s) Oval Guest Silicone Mold 1608


Equipment From Home:
• (1) Hot Plate or Double Boiler
• (1) Metal Pan
• (1) 1 Each Scale - Digital Display (Professional)
• (1) Thermometer
• (1) Metal Spoon
• (1) Spatula

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. To designated pan, add cocoa butter, shea butter, coconut oil and emulsifying wax. Heat until wax has completely melted.
  2. Add fragrance and preservative and stir.
  3. When mixture has cooled to around 108 °F, add walnut shell powder and mix well.
  4. Pour into cavities of plastic mold. Place mold in refrigerator or freezer until completely hardened.
  5. Remove from mold and package in glassine bags.
  6. Label product accordingly.
WARNING: Product will be soft at room temperature. If making during summer months or if in a hot climate, lotion bars should be refrigerated until used.

To Use: Rub bar onto wet skin. Massage onto skin and rinse off.
