About This Recipe:
Our Chamomile Butter blend contains sweet almond oil and chamomile extract which is thought to be great on dry skin. Babassu Oil makes the skin feel smooth and conditioned. This oil penetrates quickly without a greasy after touch. Put the two together and you get a Body Frosting that will help your skin get through the winter.  


Shopping List:
(1) 1 lb (single jar) Chamomile Butter Blend

(1) 2 oz Babassu Oil

(1) 2 oz Arrowroot Powder

(1) 2 fl. oz Fall Festival - Natural Fragrance Oil 1221

(1) 1/2 oz Rosemary Oleoresin Extract (ROE)

(1) 1 Piece Droppers (Pipettes) - Plastic

(6) 1 Jars 04 oz Clear Heavy Wall Plastic Jar - 70/400

(6) 1 Piece 70/400 Black Straight Top Cap - F217 Liner


Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 16 oz. Chamomile Butter Blend
• 1 oz. Babassu Oil
• 1 oz. Arrowroot Powder
• 15 ml(s) Fall Festival - Natural Fragrance Oil 1221
• .5 oz. Rosemary Oleoresin Extract (ROE)


Equipment From Home:
• (1) Scale - Digital Display
• (1) Large Mixing Bowl (64oz)
• (1) Spoon or Spatula
• (1) Hand Mixer or Stand Mixer

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. Empty 16 oz. container of Chamomile Butter Blend into a large glass bowl.
  2. Place bottle Babassu Oil in a hot water bath to melt.
  3. Add babassu oil to chamomile butter, and with a hand mixer, whip butter until fluffy.
  4. Add Arrowroot Powder. Whip ingredients until blended in.
  5. Add fragrance.  Blend ingredients and continue mixing until fluffy, about 5 minutes on high.
  6. Fill jars to 2.9 oz. by weight. Apply lids.
  7. Label product accordingly.
To Use: Apply to skin as needed.
