About This Recipe:
This winter star soap will make a festive addition to any holiday kitchen or bath. Make as many as 9 soaps with this recipe.  Organza bags included for gift giving.


Shopping List:
(1) 2 lb Premium Ultra White MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray

(1) 2 fl. oz Jack Frost* - EO & FO Blend 317

(1) 5 ml Stained Glass Ocean Blue Liquid Color

(1) 2.5 gm Bag Traditional - Iridescent Super Sparkle Glitter

(1) 1 Mold Star Soap Mold (MW 138)

(1) 1 Piece Scoop - 0.15 ml (Micro Size)

(1) 10 Piece Organza Bag - Ivory (6.5" x 5")


Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 25.5 oz. Premium Ultra White MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray
• .75 oz. Jack Frost* - EO & FO Blend 317
• 9 Drop(s) Stained Glass Ocean Blue Liquid Color
• 5 .15 ml Scoop Traditional - Iridescent Super Sparkle Glitter


Equipment From Home:
• (1) Scale - Digital Display
• (1) Microwave
• (1) Microwave Safe Measuring Cup (32 oz)
• (1) Spoon or Spatula

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron.
  1. To a microwave-safe measuring cup, add 8.5oz. of cut up soap. Heat in microwave in 30 second micrements until soap has melted. 
  2. Using the plastic dropper to measure, add .25 ounces of Jack Frost Fragrance Oil to the melted soap.
  3. Stir the soap with a spatula until the fragrance is well incorporated.
  4. Add 3 drops of Stained Glass Ocean Blue to soap and stir.
  5. Sprinkle glitter into each cavity of the soap mold.
  6. Pour the soap into each mold cavity of the Star Soap Mold.
  7. Spray the top of the soap with rubbing alcohol to pop any surface bubbles.
  8. Allow the soap to fully harden.
  9. Unmold wrap star in plastic wrap and place in organza bag.
  10. Label product acordingly.
To Use: Lather onto wet skin and rinse with warm water.
