Shopping List:
(4) 2 oz Beeswax - Ivory

(4) 2 oz Palm Kernel Flakes - 102º Melt

(1) 2 fl. oz Holly Berry Balsam Fragrance Oil 503

(1) 2.5 gm Bag Evergreen Green Mica Powder

(1) 1 Piece Beaker - Natural Polypropylene

(1) 1 Piece Droppers (Pipettes) - Plastic

(1) 1 Each Hairnets - 24 inch Disposable

(6) 1 Piece Square Cubes (Small) Clamshell with Hinged Lid


Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 7.5 oz. Beeswax - Ivory
• 7.5 oz. Palm Kernel Flakes - 102º Melt
• 1.7 oz. Holly Berry Balsam Fragrance Oil 503
•   Evergreen Green Mica Powder


Equipment From Home:
• (1) Stove Top or Hot Plate
• (1)  Metal Pot (48 oz)
• (1) Spatula or Mixing Spoon

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear
a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. Add 7.5 oz of palm kernel flakes to metal pot and heat on stovetop until melted. When completely melted, add 7.5 oz of beeswax and stir until melted.
  2. Allow mixture to cool to about 145ºF, and then add 1.7 oz (50 ml) of fragrance oil and full sample bag of green mica powder (or add little by little until desired color is achieved).
  3. Fill 6 clamshells to about 1/8 in under brim. Allow wax melts to harden completely.
  4. Label accordingly. 
To Use: Add 1-2 wax melts to wax tart warmer.
