Coconut Micellar Cleansing Water Recipe

About This Recipe:

Micellar water is a popular skincare product that gently removes makeup and dirt without needing to rinse. This is formulated with Coconut Water for it’s moisturizing benefits and subtle, sweet aroma. The added Glycerin helps draw moisture to the skin keeping it smooth and soft.

Shopping List:

(1) 2 oz Coconut Water Essential Hydrosol

(1) 2 oz Propylene Glycol

(1) 2 oz Glycerin - Natural

(1) 2 oz AMTicide Coconut

(1) 2 oz Leucidal Liquid SF

(1) 2 oz Cocamidopropyl Betaine

(1) Distilled Water

(4) 1 Set 06 oz Clear Bottle w/ One-Touch Dispensing Pump Set

Recipe Ingredients:

• 2 oz. Coconut Water Essential Hydrosol
• 2 oz. Propylene Glycol
• 1 oz. Glycerin - Natural
• 0.45 oz. AMTicide Coconut
• 0.2 oz. Leucidal Liquid SF
• 0.2 oz. Cocamidopropyl Betaine
• 16 oz. Distilled Water

Equipment From Home:

• (1) Measuring Cup (32 oz.)
• (1) Spatula or Mixing Spoon
• (1) Scale - Digital Display

Directions:

NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.

1. Combine all ingredients in a measuring cup. Be sure to shake the preservatives (AMTicide Coconut and Leucidal Liquid SF) before adding.
2. Stir gently to combine.
3. Fill bottles evenly.
4. Apply caps.
5.  Label accordingly.

 
To Use: Use a cotton pad or ball and pump a few times to soak with product. Gently wipe all over face to clean and remove makeup or dirt. No need to rinse.
