(1) 1 Block Banana Boat Yellow Sparkle Mica Soap Color Blocks

(1) 1 Block Jazzberry Red Mica Soap Color Blocks

(1) 1 Block Adobe Orange Sparkle Mica Soap Color Blocks

(1) 1 Mold Citrus Slice Soap Mold (MW 97)

Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 16 oz. Detergent Free Coconut Milk MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray
• 4.5 ml(s) Rainbow Shaved Ice Fragrance Oil 1023
• 1/8 Piece(s) Banana Boat Yellow Sparkle Mica Soap Color Blocks
• 1/8 Piece(s) Jazzberry Red Mica Soap Color Blocks
• 1/8 Piece(s) Adobe Orange Sparkle Mica Soap Color Blocks

Equipment From Home:
• (1) Rubbing Alcohol in Spray Bottle
• (1) Microwave
• (1) Large Measuring Cup - Microwave Safe
• (1) Soap Cutter

Directions:
  1. Place mold on a flat cookie sheet or tray. Microwave 1 oz DF Coconut Milk Soap Base for 10 seconds, then stir to melt any remaining chunks of soap.
  2. Spritz the mold with rubbing alcohol. Then, using a pipette, carefully fill the grooved lines of each cavity. Spritz with alcohol to pop any bubbles. (You may need to microwave the soap briefly if it starts to thicken. Do not over microwave.)
  3. Place the mold in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes to allow the white soap to cool and harden.

TO CREATE YELLOW BAR:
  1. Add 5 oz cut up Soap Base to a microwave safe container.
  2. Add 1/8 of the Yellow Color Block to the cut-up soap base. Microwave for 30 seconds.
  3. Stir to fully incorporate the color and melt any remaining chunks of soap.
  4. Add 1.5 ml Fragrance and stir.
  5. Allow soap to cool to around 110°F. Pouring too hot will melt the thin white layer!
  6. Once the soap is ready to pour, remove the mold from the refrigerator. Spritz the white layer with alcohol. Then, rather than pouring directly into the mold, slowly pour the soap onto a spatula to fill one cavity. Spritz with alcohol to pop any bubbles.

TO CREATE ORANGE BAR:
  1. Add 5 oz cut up Soap Base to a microwave safe container.
  2. Add 1/8 of the Orange Color Block to the cut-up soap base. Microwave for 30 seconds.
  3. Stir to fully incorporate the color and melt any remaining chunks of soap.
  4. Add 1.5 ml Fragrance and stir.
  5. Allow soap to cool to around 110°F.
  6. Once the soap is ready to pour, spritz the white layer with alcohol. Slowly pour the soap onto a spatula to fill one cavity. Spritz with alcohol to pop any bubbles.

TO CREATE PINK BAR:
  1. Add 5 oz cut up Soap Base to a microwave safe container.
  2. Add 1/8 of the Red Color Block to the cut-up soap base.
All Bars
  1. Allow the bars to cool and harden 15-20 minutes before transferring to the refrigerator. Once the soaps are safe to move, refrigerate until fully cool and hardened.
  2. To remove soaps from mold, gently squeeze the sides of each cavity, then push soaps out. If they won’t release, place the mold in the freezer for 5 minutes then try again.
  3. Package and label accordingly.
