Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. To a microwave-safe measuring cup, add 14 oz of cut up Oatmeal Soap. Heat in microwave until melted.
  2. In plastic beaker, add 0.70 oz. fragrance mixed with 0.35 oz. stabilizer. Mix and let sit for two minutes.
  3. Add fragrance mixture to soap and mix well.
  4. Slowly pour soap into each cavity of waffle mold filling to the top. Spritz with rubbing alcohol and let soap completely harden.
  5. To a microwave-safe measuring cup, add 1.10 oz of cut up Clear soap, 0.20 oz of Oatmeal soap (use the part without oatmeal specs) and 0.05 oz of yellow soap color block. Heat in microwave until melted.
  6. Once soap has cooled down to 125-130°F, slowly pour into each cavity of the clamshell filling only about ¼ inch. Let sit to harden.
  7. Once soap has completely hardened, carefully remove from mold and clamshell.
  8. To a microwave-safe measuring cup, add 6 oz of cut up Clear soap and 0.10 oz of brown soap color block. Heat in microwave until melted.
  9. Place waffle soap on a cooling rack (place a tray or wax paper underneath for easier cleanup).
  10. Generously, spritz each waffle soap and “butter” soap pieces with alcohol.
  11. Place the yellow “butter” pieces on top of each waffle soap.
  12. Slowly pour approximately an ounce of brown soap over each to mimic syrup. Spritz with alcohol and allow to harden.
  13. Once completely hardened, remove from cooling rack, and clean up any soap around the bottom.
  14. Package in cello bag and tie with raffia.
  15. Label product accordingly.
