- Polysorbate 20 - Solubilizer, emulsifier of Essential oils in water
- Benzophenone-4 - FDA-approved ingredient with UVA absorbing properties - anti photo-oxidant
- Citric Acid - Astringent and antioxidant properties, preservative.
- Phenoxyethanol - Preservative naturally occurring in green tea, but the commercial ingredient is synthetically produced in a lab. Used to fight contamination by fungus spores and micro-organisms.
