Cocoa Butter is thought to reduce skin dryness and work wonders for the skin. Our Cocoa Butter Wafers - Ivory are refined to reduce some of the natural color and odor. The result is a beautiful ivory butter with a milder odor than natural Cocoa Butter. This product is a different specification than our Cocoa Butters not in wafer form. Cocoa Butter Wafers often melt in transit in warmer temperatures. This will not compromise quality. Use these wafers in soap, lotion bars and more!
Common Uses:
Cold & Hot Process Soap. Lotions. Lip Products.
Points of Interest:
Extracted from the seed kernels and is further refined and deodorized to yield an ultra white colored butter with little odor. Thought to reduce skin dryness and improve elasticity. This is a relatively hard butter ideal for body care products. All Natural. Expeller Pressed.
Average Melt Point: 100º F.

Directions:
DIRECTIONS: Slowly stir melted product into the oil portion of your formulation. Common use levels are lip products 5-100%, cold process soap 3-6%, lotions and creams 3-5%. Can be applied directly to the skin.

COMMENTS: I use this for making cold process soap and lotion bars. It is great. It has a nice color to that does not affect any colorant I put in. The duscs make it easy to work with and measure. It has excellent moisturizing properties and blends well with other Ingredients. Love Love Love this product.

COMMENTS: High quality cocoa butter in an easy-to-use wafer form. I use for cold-process soap and am very pleased with this cocoa butter. Wafers make it easy to weigh and melt. The ivory color helps when I'm doing a lot of color or designs. The delectable scent of cocoa is still present (before being added to other oils and saponified, of course).

COMMENTS: I love the ease of the ivory wafers and the low scent factor...they do have a slight cocoa butter scent BUT the scent has never come through in any final product I use them in. I mostly use these in CP Soap and bath bombs, such a breeze to weight out great quality and amazing addition to my formulations. I highly recommend the use of the wafers if you use Cocoa Butter in your recipes.

COMMENTS: I have used both these and the natural Cocoa Butter wafers, and I love them both. I like these for the times when I want a really white base. While the scent of Cocoa Butter (which I actually love) is still present, it is much milder than it is in the natural wafers.
These wafers make measuring out Cocoa Butter a breeze.

COMMENTS: I thought this would be a great substitute to the blocks of Cocoa Butter. It is great for measuring, but it has a pretty strong Cocoa smell. Not as deodorized as the other deodorized ultra white cocoa butter. So be aware that it does have what I would considerable amount of Cocoa odor.
