Ingredients • 2.70 oz. Beeswax - Ultra Refined & Bleached • 2.70 oz. Palm Kernel Flakes - 102ยบ Melt • 0.60 oz. Apple Brown Sugar Fragrance Oil (Special Order) • 0.01 oz. Crimson Red Wine Mica Powder • 0.01 oz. Martini Olive Green Mica Powder • 0.01 oz. Gingerbread Brown Mica Powder • Apple Small Round Soap Mold (MW 152) |
Equipment • Measuring Cup • Metal Pot • Stove Top or Hot Plate • Paintbrush • Rubbing Alcohol • 3 Beaker - Natural Polypropylene • Scale - Digital Display (Professional) • Scoop - 0.15 ml (Micro Size) • Thermometer - Infrared, Dual Laser |
INCI Ingredient Label: Beeswax, Palm Kernel Oil, Fragrance, Fluorphlogopite, Iron Oxide, Mica, Titanium Dioxide.
Recipe Directions
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
- Add Beeswax and Palm Kernel Flakes to metal pot and heat on stove top until melted. Stir well and allow to cool to 145ºF.
- Add Fragrance Oil and stir well.
- Pour into mold cavities and allow to cool.
- Unmold melts.
- Add colors to separate beakers and mix with alcohol to make paste. Paint design.
- Label accordingly.
