Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron, workspace and sanitized equipment.
  1. WATERMELON:  In a plastic beaker, add .5 oz. clear soap with a sliver of black color bar. Heat for 15 seconds in microwave or until melted. Stir to be sure color bar has melted completely.
  2. Spritz the inside of the three watermelon cavities with rubbing alcohol.
  3. Fill a plastic dropper with black soap and carefully drop a small amount of soap into each seed. If any excess soap spills out of seed, this can be cleaned up with a toothpick or skewer once soap hardens. If you need to stop in the middle of filling seeds, place dropper into a glass of hot water. This will keep the soap fluid so it does not harden up. Empty water from dropper when ready and fill again with soap.
  4. Using a second beaker, melt 1 oz. of soap and add a small sliver of Woodland Green color bar. This color should be nice and dark so add a little more color if needed.
  5. Spritz inside of watermelon rind and pipe soap into the rind. This will need to be done in steps since the rind is curved. You can fill the middle, let harden, then add soap to either side until the rind is filled. Each time you add soap, be sure to spritz with alcohol before pouring.
  6. In microwave-safe measuring cup, add 10 oz. of cut up soap. Heat in 30 second bursts until melted.
  7. Mix 0.30 oz. Watermelon Mania Fragrance Oil with 3 scoops Pink Watermelon Infusion Mica Powder and stir well. Add to melted soap and stir until incorporated.
  8. When soap has cooled to 130°F, spritz inside of cavity well with alcohol then slowly pour soap into mold filling to the top. Spritz, again, with alcohol to release any surface bubbles. Let soap harden slightly before continuing.
  9. PINEAPPLE:  Using a plastic beaker, melt 1 oz. of soap with a few slivers of Woodland Green Color bar. Add more color if a darker shade is desired.
  10. Using a dropper, add color to the tops of one or two cavities. You can prop the mold to once side so most of the soap stays in the top. Again, these will need to be done in stages to fill the entire area. Place dropper in hot water when not using to keep dropper free-flowing. The entire top will not be filled but only a thick layer.
  11. To a microwave-safe measuring cup, add 10.5 oz. cut up soap with 1/8 cube of Matte Yellow color block. Heat in 30 second bursts until soap has melted.
  12. To a small container, mix 0.30 oz. White Pineapple Fragrance Oil with 0.15 oz. Vanilla Color Stabilizer. Let sit for 2 minutes then add to melted soap.
  13. Spritz inside of pineapple cavities with rubbing alcohol. When soap has cooled to 130-135°F, slowly fill each cavity with yellow soap. Spritz, again, with alcohol and let soaps harden.
  14. Remove soaps from mold once they have completely hardened. If any of the seeds remain in the mold, melt any remaining black soap from Step 1 and touch up any seeds using a small paint brush.
  15. Wrap soaps in airtight packaging of choice.
  16. Label product accordingly.
To Use: Lather onto wet skin and rinse with warm water.
