Directions:
WARNING: This project and these instructions have been written for someone who has experience making soap and knows the potential dangers due to working with sodium hydroxide. It will not outline all safety methods of working with dangerous chemicals, it is simply a soap recipe for advanced soap makers.
  1. In a plastic beaker, melt 1.50 oz. DF Clear Soap. In a separate beaker combine 1 ml Autumn Breeze fragrance and 0.50 ml Stabilizer. Allow to sit for 2 minutes and add to melted soap. Add (1) 0.15 ml Micro Size Scoop of mica, mix and pour into Oak Leaf Column. Spritz with alcohol and allow to harden.
  2. When hardened, unmold and repeat with remaining 4 mica colors.
  3. When all colors have been made, slice each color into thin leaves and set aside for later.
  4. Weigh the water and sodium hydroxide into separate containers. Pour the Lye into the Water. Carefully mix in a well-ventilated area and set aside to cool.
  5. Add all the Oils and Butters to microwave-safe measuring cup and melt in the microwave or in metal pan on stove top. Set aside.
  6. When both the Lye mixture and the Oils are 120°F or below, pour the Lye mixture into the Oils. Stick blend until you reach a thin trace. Pour approximately 16 oz. of batter into a funnel pitcher. Add Campfire S’mores fragrance to the large container of batter and blend with a few short bursts until incorporated.
  7. For an “in the pot swirl”, pour the unscented batter in three places in the scented batter, do not mix.
  8. Pour the batter into the mold and tap on counter to release any air bubbles. If you prefer, you can use the hanger tool and swirl the inside of the loaf further. Allow to set up, gently texture the top then sprinkle the premade MP leaves on top.
  9. Allow to set for 24 hours or longer until soap is firm enough to unmold. Unmold and slice. Let soap cure 4-6 weeks. (As the soap cures, the portion with fragrance will naturally brown and the unscented portion will stay a creamy white, revealing your swirl.)
  10. Package and label accordingly.
To Use: Lather with water onto skin. Rinse off. Avoid contact with eyes.
