Bath Tea with Spa Salts - Basic Recipe

Place a tea bag under running water, relax and enjoy the gentle aroma of the flowers and the lavender essential oil.
Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.
Equipment From Home:
• (1) Large Mixing Bowl (32 oz.)
• (1) Medium Mixing Bowl (8 oz.)
• (1) Household Iron
• (1) Jelly Roll Pan
• (1) Plastic Fork
• (1) Waxed Paper
• (1) Mixing Spoon

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace. - To make all 32 tea bags, the recipe is made twice.
- In glass bowl, place 8 oz. of the European Spa Salts.
- Drizzle 2.5 ml of Lavender Essential Oil and toss with plastic fork to mix well.
- Lay salts out on waxed paper or jelly roll pan to dry.
- Place 3 cups of Bath Tea in large glass bowl. Add dried spa salts and mix well.
- Turn iron on to medium setting.
- Open one end of large bath tea bag. Place 3 full scoops of bath tea mixture into bag.
- Iron open end of tea bag shut. If bag is not sealing, raise temperature on iron.
- Continue to mix bath tea blend while filling so salts do not settle to the bottom.
- Continue until 16 bags are filled.
- Repeat recipe to make second set of 16 tea bags.
- Label product accordingly.
To Use: Place one tea bag into warm water. Do not put directly under running water as this may break open the bag.
