Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. In large glass measuring bowl weigh buttermilk powder and baking soda.
  2. In a plastic beaker combine polysorbate 80 and fragrance oil and blend together. Add to the powders and whisk together until there are no clumps remaining.
  3. Add the bath tea blend to the powder mixture and whisk in.
  4. Open an empty bath tea bag and place into the glass or measuring cup. Place on scale and tare to zero. Using a spoon fill the bag with 1 oz. of the milk mixture. Repeat to fill all 20 bags. Stand the bags up and set them aside to be sealed later.
  5. To seal the bags, set iron to low heat. Place the ruler on the tea bag approximately ½ inch from the open side and seal with the iron. This will ensure the seal is a neat, straight line and will fit nicely in the tin tie bag. Repeat until all bags are sealed.
  6. To package, place 4 filled tea bags into each tin tie bag and roll shut.
  7. Label accordingly.
To Use: Place one tea bag into warm bath water. Relax and enjoy!
