Ultimate Beard Care Set (Beard Wash, Oil & Balm) Recipe

Any guy will love this trio of products to help keep his beard moisturized and conditioned. Use the beard wash to gently cleanse. Follow up with the beard oil to condition and help minimize dry skin. Use the beard balm to sculpt or help tame and give it shape.

(1) 2 oz Ginseng Extract - Water Soluble

(1) 2 fl. oz Bourboned Tobacco Fragrance Oil 910

(2) 2 oz Argan Oil

(1) 1 lb Meadowfoam Seed Oil

(1) 2 oz Botanical Extract Blend 2 - Oil Soluble

(2) 2 oz Aloe Vera Oil - Clear

(1) 1/2 oz Vitamin E Natural T-50

(1) 1 lb Babassu Oil

(1) 1 lb Shea Butter - Ultra Refined

Recipe Ingredients:

• 32 oz. Clear Conditioning Shampoo
• 0.64 oz. Ginseng Extract - Water Soluble
• 0.64 oz. Bubble Up
• 0.72 oz. Bourboned Tobacco Fragrance Oil 910
• 4 oz. Argan Oil
• 8 oz. Meadowfoam Seed Oil
• 2 oz. Botanical Extract Blend 2 - Oil Soluble
• 4 oz. Aloe Vera Oil - Clear
• 0.45 oz. Vitamin E Natural T-50
• 7.23 oz. Babassu Oil
• 2.60 oz. Shea Butter - Ultra Refined
• 1.45 oz. Jojoba Oil - Clear
• 2.89 oz. Beeswax - Ultra Refined & Bleached

Equipment From Home:

• (2) Glass Measuring Cups (16 oz.)
• (1) Microwave
• (1) Mixing Spoons

Directions:

NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.

1. BEARD WASH: Place 32 oz. of shampoo into a glass measuring cup. Heat in microwave for about 1 minute.
2. Add Ginseng Extract* and Bubble Up and gently stir.
3. Add 0.32 oz. fragrance and mix to incorporate.
4. Fill each bottle to 4 oz. by weight, any remaining product can be divided equally. Once product has cooled, place disc top caps on bottles. Label product accordingly. 

To Use: Apply to wet beard and massage. Rinse with warm water and dry.  

1. BEARD OIL:  To glass measuring cup add Argan Oil, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Botanical Extract, Aloe Vera Oil, 0.16 oz. Vitamin E and 0.20 oz. fragrance.
2. Stir well to incorporate all ingredients.
3. Fill each bottle to 2 oz by weight, any remaining product can be divided equally. Place yorker caps on bottles and label product accordingly.

To Use: Place 2-3 drops into palms and spread evenly. Brush beard with clean, dry brush. Finish by combing to evenly spread the oil.

1. BEARD BALM:  To metal pot on stove top add Babassu Oil, Jojoba Oil and Beeswax. Heat on low until beeswax has completely melted. 
2. Remove from heat and add Shea Butter. Let heat from hot oils melt the butter. If necessary, place back on low heat until completely melted.
3. Add 0.29 oz. Vitamin E and 0.20 oz. fragrance and mix with metal spoon.
4. Fill each tin to 1.65 oz. by weight. Let completely harden before adding lid.
5. Label product accordingly.
6. Package all 3 products together into packaging of choice.

To Use: Take a small amount of wax and apply to beard to tame stray hairs or to sculpt beard.
