How to Make a Lip Sugar Scrub

Lip Sugar Scrubs combine butter, sugar, and flavor oil to create a gentle exfoliating scrub that tastes delicious! Softer butters such as Argan Butter Blend or Cranberry Butter Blend easily mix with Sugar to create a moisturizing scrub. Flavor Oils are lip-safe making them perfect for scenting these cosmetics!

DIY Lip Sugar Scrubs

Creating a lip sugar scrub is so easy; you’ll be wondering why you didn’t make it sooner! Read these steps for a basic guide to making these lip loving products.
  1. Choose Butter – Many of our Butter Blends offer a creamy and soft texture that is wonderful for lip sugar scrubs. 
  2. Melt Butter – Use a microwave in 30-second bursts until melted.
  3. Add Sugar – We prefer using White Granulated Sugar for making lip sugar scrubs.
  4. (Optional) Add Flavor Oil – Flavor Oils add that alluring scent to lip scrubs and trick the mind to thinking you taste that flavor.
  5. Stir – Use a spoon or spatula to mix all the ingredients together.
  6. Package – Lip scrubs can be packaged in Small Jars or Lip Tubes.
