When determining how much fragrance to use, the product base, fragrance oil and packaging all need to be taken into account. Different bases, fragrances and packaging have different usage rates making it important to think about each one in each recipe you make. Improper calculations may result in unsafe products; technical problems such as glycerin dew on soap, runny lotion, thin shower gel, bitterness in lip products; and/or malfunctions with packaging such as warping. 	"I know this is an old question, but, I believe what the customer was referring to is the fact that the bottle in the video was an 8 oz bottle. They wanted to know should they double the 4% to 8% if they use a 16 oz bottle instead of an 8 oz bottle? 4%=8 oz bottle, so does 8%=16 oz bottle?"

	"OK, I hope this is not a stupid question, new to this. The video told me that 4% fragrance was safe for the lotion and bottle, so if I have a 16 oz base, I'm looking at an 8% safe zone? I hope you understand what I'm asking, thanks."
