Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask.  We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. Turn the lip balm filling tray upside down, and press all the lip balm tubes into each opening.
  2. Carefully flip the tray right side up. Place lip tube tray on a cookie sheet for stability.
  3. Scoop 2.75 oz. of Lip Balm Base for Sticks into a glass-measuring cup.
  4. Melt the lip balm base in a microwave until completely melted. We recommend melting in thirty-second increments.
  5. Add 1/4 teaspoon of Matte Americana Red Oxide Pigment Powder to the melted lip balm.
  6. Stir well to incorporate the color.
  7. Check the temperature of the lip balm. When the temperature is below 130º F, proceed to the next step.
  8. Using a plastic dropper, add 3 ml of Strawberry Sorbet Sweetened Flavor Oil to the melted lip balm and stir well.
  9. Slowly pour the lip balm into the first row of lip balm tubes filling 12 tubes. (You may have extra lip balm depending on how much is poured on the tray)
  10. Scoop another 2.75 oz. of Lip Balm Base into a clean glass-measuring cup.
  11. Melt the lip balm base in a microwave until completely melted.
  12. Add 1/4 teaspoon of Bath Bomb Orange Powder to the melted lip balm.
  13. Stir well to incorporate the color.
  14. When the temperature is below 130º F,  add 3 ml of flavor oil to the melted lip balm, and stir well.
  15. Slowly pour the lip balm into the second row of lip balm tubes. Again, you may have extra left over.
  16. Repeat above steps with the Neon Pink Hot Pants and the Pink Watermelon Infusion MIca Powder.
  17. Allow lip balms to fully harden.
  18. Remove lip balm tubes from the lip balm tray.
  19. If desired, scrape excess lip balm from the top of the lip balm tubes to make it appear uniform and aesthetically pleasing. If any lip balm remains, this can be remelted to fill in any sink holes that may have appeared or to smooth out the top of the lip balm tubes.
  20. Cap the lip tubes.
  21. Label the product accordingly.
To Use: Apply to lips as desired.
