Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. For Ribbons: In plastic beaker, add 2 oz. of cut up Ultra White soap and heat in microwave until melted. Add 2 teaspoons of liquid glycerin and stir.
  2. Add one teaspoon of Sexy Pink Slippers Mica Powder and mix in with wire whisk. More color can be added if a darker shade is desired.
  3. Pour a thin layer of pink soap into the bottom of the Guest Loaf Silicone Mold. Spritz soap with alcohol once poured.
  4. Once soap has hardened, carefully remove soap from mold. Using a soap cutter or knife, cut 1/4" wide strips the length of the soap to create 8 ribbons.
  5. Carefully, bend strips into a ribbon shape. Trim the ends so they will fit into the mold.
  6. To microwave-safe measuring cup, add 4 oz. of cut up Crystal Clear soap. Heat in microwave until completely melted.
  7. Pour a thin layer of clear soap into the bottom of the each oval cavity - just enough to cover the bottom. Spritz with alcohol.
  8. While soap is hardening, use some of the melted clear soap as a "glue" to hold the ribbon together. Place a small amount of melted soap on one side of the ribbon, then place the other side on top and hold until it has set up. Repeat for all 8 ribbons.
  9. To measuring cup of clear soap, add another 4 oz. of soap and heat in microwave until melted.
  10. When soap has cooled to 125°F, spritz soap in mold generously with alcohol. Working on one cavity at a time, pour another thin layer of soap over this.
  11. Spritz a pink ribbon on both sides with alcohol and place down into the melted clear soap, positioning so it is straight. Spritz. Continue to pour more clear soap over this until the ribbon is completely covered in clear soap. Spritz again.
  12. Continue in this manner until all 4 soap cavities are finished.
  13. To microwave-safe measuring cup, add 10 oz. of Ultra White soap base. Heat in microwave until melted.
  14. When soap has cooled to 125°F, spritz tops of soap well with alcohol. Carefully pour the white soap into the remaining area of each cavity. Spritz again with alcohol and allow soaps to harden.
  15. NOTE: Do not place the mold into the refrigerator to speed up the process. This can cause the Crystal Clear soap to cloud.
  16. Once hardened, remove soap from molds. Immediately wrap in clear plastic wrap.
  17. Repeat above Steps 6-12 to make remaining four soaps .
  18. Label product accordingly.
To Use: Lather onto wet skin and rinse off with warm water.
