Directions:

COMMENTS: I purchased this based on customer reviews describing it as a "gentle exfoliant". I used 1 TBSP per Lb. of oils in cold process soap and found the texture to be unbearably scratchy. We could only tolerate using this to wash the rough soles of our feet or palms of the hands. Will probably stick with using dried calendula petals to add a mild texture to our soaps.

COMMENTS: as with most everything I have ordered from Wholesale Suplplies you get a generous amount of product, giving you the opportunity to try in a different recipe!! Just a few days before my ordered arrived I had a facial and the technician used an exfoliant with apricot seed powder. Of course I had to try it out and have found that I can get close to the same skin smoothing results using a small amount of apricot seed powder mixed with my regular face wash!! I will be researching some recipes to make scrubs for friends in the very near future!

COMMENTS: This is a soft powder that when added to masks provides just the right touch of gentle exfoliation. It's lighter in color than pictured, and doesn't seem to affect the color of a product. The powder itself doesn't have any real odor, but once it's wetted in a product, it has a light delicious aroma reminiscent of apricots and almonds. I will definitely be buying this again.

COMMENTS: I use this as a mild exfoliant in my soaps and scrubs. I have many teenagers who use this for facial soap and tell me that it does not aggravate their sensitive skin. The only complaint is that the grain size can be inconsistent and cause a small buildup in one spot of your product. This might also lead to uneven melting of the product during use.

COMMENTS: For years, I have used a well-known brand of apricot scrub...until I read the ingredients list! Now I make my own recipe with this seed powder, good-for-you EO's and all natural ingredients...my skin is loving life now! This seed goes a long way and is super scrubby...so use a little less until you figure out what you really need.

COMMENTS: It made a great addition to the sugar scrub I made. It made the scrub it's self last longer and it added a nice texture as well as look a bit prettier.
