COMMENTS: Behaved beautifully in cold process. Did not accelerate trace nor discolor. It was very easy to work with and smells peachy clean! Like another reviewer mentioned, questionable out of the bottle but settles nicely after saponification.

"Settled nicely in cold process soap" |

COMMENTS: Not gonna lie, out of the bottle this fragrance had a savory, musky human scent that was a little concerning. Once saponified, it smells like peach with a neroli-type floral bitterness. This FO behaved well in cold process with no A/R/D and gave plenty of time to work the swirls even though my recipe is 55% hard oils and butters, and I use a healthy scoop of kaolin clay and a pretty deep water discount. If you aren't sure whether this fragrance is right for you or your product line, it's unisex, not sweet, and complex. Give it a try -- some people will love it.

"Wonderful scent! Behaved very well in CP soap!" |

COMMENTS: I ordered a 2 oz bottle to try and by weight, my bottle ended up being about 1.65oz. I used all of it in my batch of CP soap and that makes it a 4.5% usage rate for my batch size. I use the Royalty Soaps recipe with kaolin clay to anchor the scent and I soaped at about 78F. I would say this FO is extremely well behaved, I had plenty of time to do many swirls with 3 different colors and the soap was still pretty liquid once it was all in the mold. I used mostly dark colors so I don’t really know if it discolors or not. As for scent, I have no idea what the original smells like, but this dupe FO smells amazing! To me, it smells like a sensual unisex cologne with hints of fruit. The soap hasn’t had enough time to cure yet for me to determine what it will smell like when it’s done (it’s only been 2 days). CP soap always smells a bit strange those first couple of weeks, but the FO smell is still there at least, that’s usually a pretty good sign. I will say that I did accidentally let it get too hot and that may have affected some of the scent retention so I would definitely like to try it again and monitor it more closely so it doesn’t go into gel phase this time. I’m definitely going to buy a bigger bottle to make another batch and possibly wax melts.

"Best new fragrance in years!" |

COMMENTS: I am so pleased with this scent, it is a very close match to the expensive Tom Ford version. I used it in a body cream, and it is very fresh smelling. It’s not candy-peachy, it’s more like fresh peach with the tiniest bit of floral. I’m not a huge floral scent fan, but this has just enough to make it not a complete gourmand fragrance. I’ll order again! Also, very strong and long lasting in a body cream. 0.5% was just right.
