Carbopol® 940 Polymer Thickener Carbopol® 940 type thickener, is a carbomer. Many love it for hair-styling gels, bath gels, lotions and creams.
Useful for formulating crystal clear gels as well as stabilizing emulsions. Make clear gels and viscous liquids.
Use of a neutralizing agent such as Triethanolamine or Sodium Hydroxide will activate the thickening effect in formulas.
