"Foaming bath whip" COMMENTS:  I make my own foaming bath whip, this surfactant performs perfectly in my formula! It enhances lather and leaves the skin soft and smooth. I plan to make some bubble wands and bubble bath, so I will definitely need to order the gallon size. What I love about this surfactant is the pH isn't as high as some of the other gentle surfactants. So it's easier to control the pH of the final product. "Powerful stuff" COMMENTS:  I was trying out a different BB recipe when I was using this. In combination with SLSA this is some powerful stuff at a very low dose. About .8% of total batch weight even just a crumble off the bath bombs and the water was extremely silky smooth. The bath bombs didn't survive sadly but they feel so nice even when the crumbly bits are mixing into the water. Extremely effective. Great for the price. This is because it is primarily derived from plant-based oils and does not contain harsh chemicals. In contrast, cocamidopropyl betaine is a synthetic surfactant that may irritate certain skin types, particularly at higher concentrations. It is commonly found as a foaming agent in shampoos and body washes. Can you add it? Coco Betaine would be considered the natural version where as Cocamidopropyl Betaine would be the synthetic version, and easier accessible. "This is a follow up to my question. So I tried the coco betaine in my rebatch soap I used 1 oz of Bubble up in the mix of 32 oz of rebatch soap. I also mixed in 1 tsp of Panthenol powder. Staff Answer Bubble up can be used in castile soap. As far as usage goes, you would need to test in your recipe. We recommending adding 1 tbs per pound of soap and going from there until you reach your desired outcome.
