"?????????? High Quality and Easy to Work With" COMMENTS:  This DL-Panthenol 100 is excellent quality. It dissolves smoothly and incorporates easily into formulations without clumping or residue. Great for adding moisture and slip to hair and skin products. Works well in lotions, creams, conditioners, and leave-in treatments. Results are consistent from batch to batch, which is important for repeat formulas. A reliable active ingredient and a staple in my formulations — I’ll continue to reorder. Staff Answer Panthenol tends to degrade around 150F so if your lye solution is only 100F you will be fine to add during that phase. This should not compromise the benefits of panthenol. You will need to do some testing to see what works best. Staff Answer Panthenol can be added to shampoo bars, either cold process shampoo or syndet bars. For CP, this will be whisked into the batter at light trace.
