Our Gentle Face and Baby Cream is great to use as it! This face cream is gentle enough for every day use and popular for baby massage. A best seller! Paraben-free lotion base.
Common Uses:
Lotion. Body Moisturizer. This is a ready to use base. It can be used “as is” or it can have color and fragrance incorporated prior to packaging.

Directions:
On low heat, warm base to 120º F. Add cosmetic grade fragrance and FDA approved color additive. Scoop or pipe into container. Allow to return to room temperature and apply top. Label per FDA label requirements.
Note: Amount of fragrance cannot exceed IFRA guidelines (listed for each fragrance on this website) and should not exceed this products “Maximum Fragrance Load” of 4%. If your lotion does not remain white when you rub it into your skin then you have used too much color. If product significantly thins you have used too much fragrance.
Maximum Temp Note: If a base is heated over “Maximum Heating Temperature” for greater than 5 minutes the current preservative system can be rendered inactive and additional preservative is required to prevent the growth of mold, bacteria and fungus. If more than 5% additives are incorporated into the base, the current preservative system will be diluted and additional preservative will be required.

COMMENTS: I bought this to customize for lotion, it's overall feel is as indicated; for baby lotion/cream and face creams. I am 90% satisfied with how the lotion came out but it's more suited to be used as a face cream base. It has a smooth texture and a lovely silky after feel on your skin.

COMMENTS: I didn’t give the full stars because you really can’t use this product alone if you have dry skin. You’ll have to add a lil something for thirsty skin. I added mango butter to one batch and aloe Vera to another, safe to say, I’m buying this product until it’s discontinued. Period. Also, you don’t need to add preservative.

COMMENTS: I got the lotion base set and this is my second favorite. I love how smooth this lotion feels on my face and it glides onto my skin. I didn't like how there are no directions on how to add FO to the base but I don't know if it because its for the face and you shouldn't be adding to much FO oil to your face? anyway I just keep this base next to my makeup stand and use it for moisturizing my face before makeup or even at night time. I would buy this base again.

COMMENTS: I bought this cream base...based on all the reviews. I really like this. I appreciate that its not heavy, tacky or greasy but still moisturizes well. I added Argan oil to it and it accepted it very well. I only had 1 customer who wasnt thrilled about this product. Her skin was very dry to begin with and she felt it wasn't moisturizing enough for her. Of course that could happen with any face cream. I will keep this base in stock all the time. Thank you for a great product.

COMMENTS: Love this light moisturizer. Since it is so gentle, it's also great for my boy's super sensitive & dry skin. Paraben free is always a big bonus for me, and this base easily accepts a little more oil and other great additives to customize the cream to your needs. The cream has somewhat of an odd texture, it looks like there are chunky curds (sorry, it's the best comparison I could come up with), but it spreads very smoothly. Texture not noticeable when this is in a pump-style bottle.

I did not feel like I got "all day moisturizing" the way I do with some of the other bases. After several hours, my skin would look very dry and thirsty and I would have to reapply. It goes on light, dries and leaves no after greasy feeling. Very good for sensitive skin, or normal skin. I would think this would be better suitable to a younger person's skin. I would recommend it for the twenty something crowd.

Yes, it's thick right out of the jar, but heated it up & added essential oil (cocoa absolute) and some hemp oil to it, it made a smooth, creamy cocoa face cream. Yes, I had to use a spoon to put it in the jars, however, if it had liquified (enough to poor), it wouldn't be rich, creamy product, and that's what you want in a face cream, right? It's tinted slightly brown, but it adds to it's name-creamy cocoa face cream! Can't wait to gift it & almost kept it as it smells so good! Tried a "sample" on my hand, and it smoothed out my psoriasis almost immediately! Will buy this base again! Thanks!

COMMENTS: i am currently using this cream as my facial moisturizer I added lavender essential oil to it and may make another batch with more eo added. I am pleased with the creamy texture. It is definitely more economical than what I was buying.. My skin is still soft and not dry, will see as for the results.

COMMENTS: I am absolutely a big fan of this cream. I use it every morning on my face but best of all my customers seem to really like it It has sunflower seed oil which is really great on blocking the suns uv rays from damaging your skin and is a great anti aging cream, I also love the fact that sunflower seed oil deosnt block your pores. Great face cream.

COMMENTS: I took a chance on this product as I usually make my own bases, now, this is the ONLY lotion base I use. I like everything about it and so do my customers. This is a very high quality product just like I use to make. I do not use FO so I don't know how well it takes those products but it works very well with essential oils.

COMMENTS: This has to be the best gentle face cream base I have ever bought. I have tried a few others and have come back and am staying with Wholesale !! I love this cream. It's not greasy, not slimy, it absorbs quick and leaves the skin soft and supple. I have a group of customers who will wait if I am out till I get more in and won't use anything else. PLEASE don't ever do away with this base I'll be lost !!

COMMENTS: This is possibly my favorite product. I was always iffy about doing lotion. This base is just wonderful. It is used on hands, face and body. I have very sensitive skin and I've never had a reaction to it.
It takes fragrance well, is smooth, goes on non sticky. It absorbs very quickly into the skin and leaves the fragrance lightly on the skin. All around great product.

COMMENTS: I've had so many requests for lotions, and it's hard to have a "natural" lotion simply because of the ingredients (mainly the water)...and I've stuck to butters as my moisturizer. I saw that this was 98% natural and HAD to order it. I just made a few bottles to experiment with scents and they were gone before I knew it!
