"Lighter Fluffier Lotions" |
COMMENTS: This is a lovely emulsifier. It makes lotions that don't feel as heavy and waxy as those made with e-wax. It's economical too because it can emulsify a lot of oil at a very small percent--like 5% for 30% oils. It doesn't always thicken as much as you might want, but that's easily adjusted by adding a titch of cetyl, stearyl, or cetearyl alcohol to the heated oil phase. I'm finding that I really prefer this over standard e-wax.
