Lemon is a natural astringent, antiseptic, and bactericide. Lemon Peel Granules are used in face and skin care for these properties and as an exfoliant. Our Lemon Peel Granules are a small grain size and provide mild exfoliation.

Directions:
Add to base, amount as desired. Smaller amounts will provide color variations in products. Larger amounts will provide a full scrub. When using in soaps & washes, we recommend the suspension bases which prevent additives from sinking to the bottom of the container.

Soaps: 0.25-.50%

COMMENTS: I really like this as an exfoliant. I have been using in a facial soap and I find it to be gentle enough for everyday use. I also like that it adds a nice yellow tint to the soap, but thats something to be careful of if you are not looking for that color in your products.

COMMENTS: This smells strong and also can carry other essential oils when doing scrubs! Had the perfect texture and size for scrubbing, no further processing is needed unless you are trying to turn it into dust(which would defeat the purpose of the scrub!)
