Contains Lanolin, Allantoin, and Aloe Vera. Lanolin has is popular in skin care because of its skin softening & emollient properties. Allantoin is thought to have the ability to help heal wounds, sores and stimulate growth of healthy tissue. Aloe Vera has long been considered to be a premier product for moisturizing and healing the skin.

Cream. Body Moisturizer. This is a ready to use base. It can be used “as is” or it can have color and fragrance incorporated prior to packaging.

Maximum Temp Note: If a base is heated over “Maximum Heating Temperature” for greater than 5 minutes the current preservative system can be rendered inactive and additional preservative is required to prevent the growth of mold, bacteria and fungus. If more than 5% additives are incorporated into the base, the current preservative system will be diluted and additional preservative will be required.
Maximum Fragrance Note: Some fragrance and essential oils may thin or thicken this base. You will want to conduct performance testing to ensure your final product performs as you desire.

Directions:
On low heat, warm base to 120º F or until it becomes liquid. Add cosmetic grade fragrance and FDA approved color additive. Pour into container. Allow to return to room temperature and apply top. Label per FDA label requirements.
Note: Amount of fragrance cannot exceed IFRA guidelines (listed for each fragrance on this website) and should not exceed this products “Maximum Fragrance Load” of 4%. If your lotion does not remain white when you rub it into your skin then you have used too much color. If product significantly thins you have used too much fragrance.

COMMENTS: This lotion easily absorbs, however it leaves a white film just like sun screen; you have to keep rubbing and rubbing in order for the white to go away. At first I thought it was a sunscreen due to this and had to come back to re-read the information. The feel on my hands after applying was not slippery, but more sticky as your body feels like on a humid day. It was not a pleasant feeling at all. I did not like the feeling to the point I had to wash it off. I really wish I purchased the 16 oz first instead of a gallon. It also looks metallic and pearl like, which I was not expecting as it was not mentioned.

COMMENTS: I like the texture of this cream its very silky and not sticky at all, leaves your skin moisturized and soft. I used it to make hand and body cream, added about 1% of fragrance oil but the lanolin smell was still there and add more fragrance but didn't really cover the smell.
But overall the texture is perfect I will try the other bases and compare.

This is a great year round cream for summer sun kissed skin, winter weathered skin, as well as that 50 something dry skin. I have even used it on my face with wonderful results. COMMENTS: I accidentally ordered this instead of the satin & silk base. I was disappointed to find that it is not paraben-free like the other. I didn't notice the strong chemical scent some other reviewers have mentioned. I added mica and fragrance and found the cream to be a little powdery once it dried on my hand. It is definitely not a greasy hand cream. I plan to use this up since I already have it then stick with the paraben free bases.

COMMENTS: Was amazed by the properties of this base. I have never ordered a base that could be used as is. My daughter in law is super sensitive to just about everything, so I thought I would just jar it and see what she thought (no additives or scent) I really believe in the future this will be a go to product...I will be using a lot of this product

COMMENTS: I use this product to mix with essential oils such as emu, eucalyptus, and niaouli just to name a few and it makes the best hand cream. COMMENTS: I received this as part of the lotion base sampler Kit. I am taking each lotion and trying it for a week to see how I like it. The is my favorite so far. Its very moisturizing without feeling greasy, and lasts all day long. I even used it on my face. I am in my forties, with very dry skin, plus winter weather makes it worse. I put the lotion on in the morning, at the end of the day, my skin still felt soft and smooth, especially the elbows. Would definitely recommend this cream

COMMENTS: Made a ton of 4 oz, jars with the 1 gallon bucket. I love how thick it is , and how well it holds fragrance. I used Frosted Snowdrops fragrance and just sold out at my show the other day. I will be keeping this Base in my product line for as long as you carry it. Please dont ever discontinue. Very Happy In N.Y.
