Scrub dirt and grime away using the products made from this popular project.
This scrub is popular with mechanics to remove grease and grime from hard working hands. The pumice powder provides the grit needed to loosen car grease from the creases of hands. The soap and foaming bath whip provide a bubbly lather that then removes this loosened dirt. For an added bonus the aloe vera oil acts as a softening agent to provide some moisture back to those dry-cracked hands. Its scented with Oakmoss Sandalwood Fragrance Oil, which is an appealing scent for men.

COMMENTS: I am new to body care product creation. I own a massage studio and wanted to launch my 2022 holiday season with something more than just massage gift certificates. I chose this mechanics scrub kit, the whipped peppermint sugar scrub, and the peppermint salt cubes. This mechanics kit is simply amazing!! I understand why it is always on backorder! Very clear directions & super easy to follow for a newb. The scent is incredibly appealing w/o being overwhelming, the pumice adds a really wonderful texture that you can just "feel" is cleaning well. I used my stand mixer w/o issue. I imagine I'll be selling out of this quickly!

COMMENTS: I first bought this kit for my husband to try. He is a mechanic and has rough hands that are greased stained. Nothing he tries he has liked. He has tried different products to no liking until I made him thisrecipe. Now he has told all his co workers and company vendors and I am selling them like crazy. Some stores want to carry the product in their store. The smell is amazing and it makes his hands so soft and removes the grease. He doesnt look like he has mechanic hands anymore. Have to buy more ingredients to make because everyone wants some!!! I think this may become my best selling product!!!!

COMMENTS: I purchased the mechanical's Scrub kit because I wanted to see if it was something that I could promote at a car show to sell. I am not disappointed and I am so glad I did try it early enough to order the ingredients in bulk to make more. It is very easy to put together and the smell is absolutely wonderful! My son-in-law is a mechanic and I made him use it so I could make sure it cleaned well and he even loves it. If you are in doubt about something then purchasing a kit to try it first is definitely the way to go. I am so excited to make some more. Thanks

COMMENTS: I did like this kit. My soap seemed to cool rapidly, so I had some tiny lumps of soap in the final product, which I would like to eliminate next time I try the recipe. It did produce a nice amount of product. LOVE the jars that came with this, so much so, I had to order them to keep on hand. Pumice and my hands do not get along, so I'm not sure how well this will work for those with sensitive skin or soft skin. Scent was light. I did sub out the aloe oil for grapeseed, as I prefer it.

COMMENTS: The Oakmoss Sandalwood FO in this is great. Guys love this and I also use it. It can be marketed to not just mechanics but other industries where hands get dirty. Be careful using the M&P base. You really need to ensure that it is completely melted so it doesn't get chunky when it cools while mixing.

COMMENTS: My husband just loves this scrub. He is a mechanic, and has always use the brands sold at auto stores. His hands are always rough. COMMENTS: When I made the mechanic's scrub, I was surprised at how easy it was to make. I've used the scrub several times already to clean my hands after working in the garden, and it does a fantastic job. Not only did it clean my hands -- it left them soft as well.
