"Less Sticky than Glycerin" |
COMMENTS: I like to use glycerin or my hand-made glycerites in a lot of my products (I only formulate for friends and family) but glycerin can be very sticky in amounts over 5%. So when it comes to products for the face, I want them to feel as lovely as possible and I substitute propediol for glycerin in those formulations. It just feels light and absorbs so nicely. And does its job of making the lotions more moisturizing.
